Did you hear...another broken promise by Obama has come to light...federal funded Abortions with the "new Obama Health Care" plan will be allowed in PA. Other state Health plans are lined up to use funds in the same way.
I believed he signed a special presidential proclamation that said that this wouldn't happen...it was this very "worthless paper promise" that got the Health Care bill passed in Congress.
Now we have another OBAMA Lie made to the American people to add to the growing list.....how can his supporters approve and still support a president who out and out lies like this to the American people? It is obvious that his personal word means nothing to him... how can you Obama supporters out in Sowal land overlook this lie made to the American people? Can you justify and defend this Obama lie or will you say it just doesn't mean anything?

As a female who thinks an abortion is a medical procedure that is none of your damn business unless you are getting or performing one, I could frankly care less.
Though if you post a link I might be interested in seeing what the actual story is.

I agree that it is a woman's right to choose. I just do not want to pay for it with federal funds. If you want an abortion then you can pay for it. I do not care how poor you are.

I feel the same way about erectile dysfunction drugs, many plastic surgery procedures, politician's per diems and pensions, reality TV, and anything provided to prisoners that isn't a cot, a toilet, and some bars.
You pay for mine, I pay for yours.
Still haven't seen an actual article or some factual data BTW.

The president's executive order simply Re-affirmed the EXISTING ban on the use of Fed funds for abortion, making Both the pro & anti factions equally angry (see Fox News link: FOXNews.com - Choice, Life Groups Slam Obama Order on Abortion Funding)
I join scooterbug in asking Yzarctoo for a link to the instant story.

Not to sound nasty...I too am a female and my tax money being used to fund your abortion (or your medical procedure as you wish to call it) is my business, also that our President of the United States lied to all of us to get his Obama Care passed should be all of our business.... .sorry that you frankly don't care about that one either.
Just Google the topic...lots of links are out there....I'm sure that an independent woman such as yourself doesn't need my help in providing you a source of information.

Obama has been successful on more of his promises than most presidents and he's not even 2 years in yet. It is probably because of the employment situation that this is being overlooked.
Anyway, you should at least give him the credit deserved because he has been busy!

I am not outraged (IF it is even true) because I thought it was incredibly stupid to begin with that we are refusing to cover basic medical procedures in a "universal" health care bill.
No matter what your personal feelings or religious views are about it, the fact remains that abortion is a medical procedure that is not always an elective "choice" due to health reasons.

Pennsylvania answers abortion funding questions:
?.......... Roseanne Placey, a press secretary for the state (of Pennsylvania) insurance department, says the program will follow federal law.
Placey: We could not and would not use federal money to cover elective abortions, we could not and would not use federal money to go beyond the scope of the Hyde Amendment in the case of non-elective abortions.
The Hyde Amendment bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortions, except to save the life of the mother or in cases of rape or incest. .............
this is a high risk pool. The likelihood that women would be coming to this program to have abortion coverage is very limited. These are people with serious illnesses that have gone without coverage and care because of pre-existing conditions.?

Couldn't resist...chose one of those Promises Kept from your list:
No. 299: Eliminate disparity in sentencing for crack and cocaine
The Promise:
"Will work in a bipartisan way to eliminate disparities" between mandatory sentences for trafficking crack cocaine versus powder cocaine, which he believes has disproportionately filled our prison with young black and Latino drug users. "They will also repeal the mandatory minimum sentence for first-time offenders convicted of simple possession of crack, as crack is the only drug that a non-violent first-time offender can receive a mandatory minimum sentence for possessing."
This was a really big ?) promise...a free get out of Jail card. There are lots more "oromises" just like this one on your link...these aren't promises more like agendas in my humble opinion.

It strikes me as quite inconsistent that under the new laws, a woman's right to choose is very important and protected, but at the same time she doesn't have the right to choose to not have health insurance.....

I have no burden to provide you with any information...I posted a comment..an opinion...a disappointment... as far as a medical procedure...I don't consider an abortion like having a tumor removed, or a repaired heart value or a broken bone repair. An abortion is the removal and actual killing of a future life...I don't consider that a routine medical procedure.

There's a Pew Research Center Poll that shows only 7 percent - only 7 - want Obamacare to remain as it is. Most want it to be repealed.
Obama's promises are meaningless and that is why 68% of the American people believe the Obama administration is what is wrong with our country. He pretends to be for the "middle class" all the while doing his best to destroy it.
If someone wants an abortion that is their business but should not be funded by the federal government.

Quite a few of the 19 identified as broken ones are directly related to 'transparency'.
No. 30: End no-bid contracts above $25,000
No. 234: Allow five days of public comment before signing bills
No. 240: Tougher rules against revolving door for lobbyists and former officials
No. 517: Negotiate health care reform in public sessions televised on C-SPAN

Oh well, if Obama is going to lie, it's some consolation to know the lie creates a more favorable situation, that's all I can say.

Sarah Palin shot her husband in the ass. I think this is so wrong. Anyone who can like Palin after she did something like this is a horrible person.
I'm not posting a link or citing a source for you to see that ths actually happened, though. I'm just going to tell you that it is terrible even if it isn't true.
You google it. I owe you nothing.

Haaaaa! Haaaaaa!
As a former teacher,I found that my students, retained more, understood more, and were able to make more informed decisions when they did their own research.
BTW, if my buddy Sarah shot the hubby in his backside, I wouldn't have to do research at all...it would be all over the news...the mainstream media reports would be stepping all over each other with reports and photoshopped pictures of the actual wound. Let the Obama administration break another promise to the American people, and you have to dig and dig and dig to find it...... that is unless you watch cable news like FOX.

An abortion is the removal of a congregation of cells without conscience, awareness, or sovereignty. I'm not talking about late-term abortions where the situation is more questionable. Furthermore the rights of the host trump the rights of the guest.
I have no moral issues with such a procedure, and termination of pregnancy would be a far more viable option socially and economically for our society than burdening a young woman without the financial and emotional means to raise a child. The price of this procedure monetarily is a small one in the grand scheme of things.

Will not question your first paragraph as that is your belief...mine is different...we won't ever agree.
But there is nothing wrong with a sexually active, economically burdening, young, unmarried woman from using birth control or purchasing condoms to carry with her. In my humble opinion, birth control pills and condoms might be a little less expensive than an abortion.

I agree with the birth control stance, but when what's done is done, I reiterate, it's a small price to pay.
