I thought I would finally let everyone know we are moving back! After an incredible time in California and the passing of my grandmother in Chicago we realized how much we miss our family and friends in Sowal. Plus, not sure I could ever work in California as I have surfed almost every day since arriving! Not to mention still no license! Argh! I have been waiting now 5 months and it could be another 90 days! But... We have had a blast and I highly recommend to anyone that is burnt out to go for it. The break has brought my family closer and we are all together just a more relaxed family. My hopes would be to come back, work hard, and travel again. Sowal will always be our base camp. I love all of you and thanks for the nice comments and the understanding during our crazy transition. Oh yeah! We got a pretty cool offer when in Florida 2 weeks ago during the singer-song writer festival that has made the decision that much easier. :clap: More to be revealed soon!

Thank you everyone! Feeling the love! We sure have had a blast out here and have 30 more days to go. This adventure has sure opened up our horizons and feel like it's just the beginning.

I told you all I would update once we were back in town... So we made it back. BTW, the drive through Texas is hell!
I have placed my license with The Beach Group and have joined the new office at 395. Really excited to be back and actually working with my wife, Beverly. So we have put together a really awesome team (Bobby Johnson, Beverly Johnson, Randy Holder, Karen Holder, Bernadette Flannery) on 395. So if you get a chance come by and say hello. We are located in the new building on 395. Look for the beach ball! Hope to see you all around and thanks again for all the kind words.

Welcome back! Enjoy your new, lower, uh, zero, personal income tax rate. That 11% in California can be murder on personal savings.

They have many issues out there for sure. I took my real estate test and passed 5 months ago and still await my license! Can you believe that one. The state is like in a traffic jam. Surf was awesome though. 😀
