I have been away from the board for a week, this is the first time I am really able to handle what has happened....my husbands youngest sister Janelle passed away on Sunday very suddenly, she was only 38 years old. She had a major hemmorage in her brain and went into cardiac arrest last wednesday, the wonderful staff at Barnes hospital did the best they could but in the end Janelle was pronounced brain dead at 11:30 am on Sunday. I belive strongly in the power of prayer and I am asking all of you from the bottom of my heart to pray for my husbands family, the five siblings and one dear husband that Janelle has left behind. We need all the strength we can get to make it through tomorrow and Thursday. God bless you all:wub:

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister-in-law. I can't imagine what you all must be feeling and going through. thank you seagrovelover for letting us know about this. your family will receive all the thoughts and prayers from your friends here, and somehow find the strength to face such sadness.

I'm so sorry. I will be praying for your family. 38 years old - unimaginable that someone that age could have such a catastrophic episode.

This is such tragic news. How heartbreaking for your family to lose Janelle so young and so unexpectedly. Please know that you are surrounded by love and sympathy here and that we are all sending our prayers your way.

I am so sorry seagrovelover. My husband's brother (age 39) died this year and I know how something like this can just rip you to pieces. Take all the time you need to heal and recover from the shock. ... I'm sure this week you have been strong for your hubby and so let us be strong for you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. :(

Wow! I hear about young people dieing fairly often, lately. That must be difficult to experience for the people who are left behind. The only thing for which you can wish, is that the person who has died, has truly experienced life before she passed away. So often, we go through our life, busy with work, or watching television, or focused on what we will do when we win the lottery, or when we retire. Let her death remind us all that we don't necessarily die when we turn 80. Let the spirit of Janelle exist through the celebration of our own lives, and she will smile as she looks down from Heaven. You will begin to notice her spirit in the wind, blowing gently across your cheeks, and in the warmth of your skin, as the Sun shines down to kiss you. You will begin to notice the spirit of life, and she will be remembered forever. The next time you walk through a rose garden, remember to inhale and appreciate the spirit of Janelle.
