Sorry, it's probably obvious, but what are they building at Grand Blvd in front of the christmas trees - CVS? Walgreens? I should know by the design but I drove by too fast.

I can wait. Not fond of fast food in South Walton County, especially a chain that takes such strong anti-gay and racist stands (for example, the employees I've seen here are mostly cute and smiley white girls).

If we're going to have any fast food, then I'm glad it's Chic Filet. I do love it. But I do not love their anti human rights message.

Fortunately I am not a boycotter. Good people work there, no doubt.

To me, they are the best fast food restaurant: good food, good service, cute girls. Fortunately, I can separate my taste buds from my social issues.

I do think they are good employers and do a lot for their employees, from what I've read over the years.

I am in the franchise business and do not understand the fascination with Chik Fil A. It is like In and Out Burger, dont get it, not a great product, good service...Maybe I am underestimating the Baptist population:) They're well intentioned people and very charitable and treat their employees well, but they do not budge on Southern Baptist beliefs.

Plenty of good chicken free from religious beliefs available elsewhere.

I agree with you on the question of loyalty to the place. I view Chipotle food the same way, what's the big effing deal about it?

I dont get it either. Chipotle is one step up from Taco Bell, amazing the Vulcan mind control they have over the youth of America.

Imagine going back 50 years and having to explain the concept of faith-based racist homophobe chicken people.

My understanding is they don't franchise anymore and the "owners" are "managing partners", in other words you work like a slave and have no asset to sell at the end of your term.

not a Chipotle fan either, extra charge for a cold bag of tortilla chips. I do Mexican mostly for the chips and salsa... Moe's a chain at least in Alabama (carbon copy of chipotle )
Better..but full disclosure made a bundle off Chipolte stocks.:))

Moe's tried and failed twice at Grand Boulevard.

I like Which Wich, kind of like Quizno's, but without the weird dip your meat in a hot water bath thing. It's in Alabama and moving south.

Not too bad. A friend of mine started which wich in Dallas about 10 years ago. Kind of pricey but not a bad sandwich.

I didn't find it anymore pricey than a Moe's or equivalent. Since I avoid Subway like the plague I don't really mind paying more than $5/foot.
