Megamillions-what would u do with the $$

The New York Megamillions is up to 165 Million. Think I may have to buy some tickets.
So the question is if you won that much money (all of it) what would you do with it? ;-) honestly

probably go into seclusion and avoid the media at all costs.... i would still work tho - if i didn't i would never get out of the house. my parents, my sis and family and my inlaws would all be set for life..

My husband and I wouldn't work! He has already said that! The powerball lottery is up there pretty big itself! We would get the heck out of Memphis for one thing, away from all the blood sucking government who do their best to drain you of every penny you have, and that is because they are major screwups who do not know how to run the government and manage the finances. So we have to make that up out of our pockets. I would buy us a beach house somewhere in the panhandle. Buy a house somewhere where we could actually enjoy some winter snow, either in the midwest or the northeast! Buy my son and his wife both a new car each, and a house, and put some money aside in a trust for them, and give them so much a month, even though he is 24. He is not a good manager of money. I would give some money to my parents, even though they are comfortable, and to my mother-in-law, and buy her a new house, she lives in a house that is literally falling apart, would give some money to my husband's brother and his family. Would try to invest some and put some in a special account and would hide out! And as for the people coming out of the woodwork claiming to be lost relatives! Wouldn't work with me! We would hide out!

Bank about 10m, disperse about 5m among family & select friends, continue working but with a considerably different attitude, and do "non institutional good deeds" with the rest over time...

- set up family first, a couple of million in the nephews' education fund. pay off mortgages for sister and buy/build brother a house. set up annual endowments for my favorite 501c3's. then, buy some acreage out in the southwest for me, surrounded by more acreage pledged to wildlife fund, and then put a little solar house on it, and a dirt airstrip.
- now for the fun. get pilot's license and twin engine plane. get 40-50' sailboat and sail the world, inviting friends to meet join and stay/crew for as long as the need.
- hike AT, continental divide, eastern trail(when finished), Pacific Crest Trail, etc, now that their are time constraints due to work.
- throw the largest mayhem yet.
etc, etc...

one more thing. open a movie theater, 3 screens, one for first run films, one for classic films, one for art films/mountainfilms. half hour trailers with ads will not be shown.

First of all I would help out family and friends no matter what. I would buy a house in Seagrove, and one in the smokies (maybe Gatlinburg) and of course the lake of the Ozarks here in MO. My kids would go to the best schools, my husband would no longer work ( deer hunting full time?;-) ) and I would buy a new beach cam for Grayton beach !!!!!!!!:clap_1: *just to name a few*

It's funny, but I never gave real serious thought to winning that kind of money because the odds are so stacked against people, so I never play.
But I am going to throw away $50 bucks at it for funn since the drawing is tonight and I guess you have to be in it to win it they say.

After setting up family, Mr. mango and I would probably figure some kind of business venture, since we like to stay busy, but we would think about while traveling I think to avoid the barrage of calls people get.
I would probably go to Australia, then head over to the South Pacific, until we were traveled out and missing family and friends.

I would probably get involved in some philanthropic work and then dispurse funds to charities as needed especially for Lyme disease research and awareness as well as Autism research, and help families that can not afford treatments and diagnoses.

Of course we probably would buy a house in SoWal that overlooked a dune lake and the Gulf. I would probably keep my current house and just build a small Disneyland on my property for my nephews.

It would be highly unlikely that I would win, because it is my understanding that first, I would have to purchase a ticket. However, if I did hit it big, I would take the lump sum which is probably 1/3 of that, pay half of it in taxes to the stinking IRS, which would leave about 35 million to share. So I would form a corporation with my family and several of my friends to avoid gift taxes, and I would kick back and relax and leave excellent tips at my favorite dining establishments. I would also try to keep the shelves stocked on a few homeless shelters in one of my favorite towns.

I would pay off all debt, set up my family, buy a house, guess where? Quit work, move to the beach for the rest of my life. Do volunteer work. Yada, Yada, Yada.....it sure feels good to dream!!!!

Invest some of it, then buy a piece of property to start my life long dream of owning my own canoe and kayak store in it.

after that. I would embark on a year long journey around the world with my family. during that time I will figure out what the heck I want to do for the rest of my life and where I want to do it.

hire a full time housekeeper/cook.

help build a state of the art montessori school for grades birth through highschool, fostering world peace through education.

I would also buy us a couple of kayaks and a canoe and a couple of waverunners! And a couple of Honda Scooters like the ones rented at the beach!

Then I'd probably set up an animal shelter,
