Little IBD is going as a 50's girl, I am so glad I FINALLY got her off Disney princessesssssss. It seems that has all she has wanted to be. Anywho, Mr IBD and I are dressing the 50's part as well. I wish I could be Pinky Tuscadaro but the satin pants would not look too good on this Butt!!!Mr IBD needs a haircut so we should be able to slick his hair back with something...We will take pics FO SHO!!!

This sounds like so much fun IBD! I can't wait to see pics. This will be the first year I'm letting my daughter go out with her friends. Last year Mr. OL stayed several feet behind.
I'm hoping she can still go. She said this is probably her last year to trick or treat. She's 12 and in 7th grade, makes me kinda sad. I sent her off to school today all stuffed up!! Dylan is going out with his friend and his Dad. His Dad is a police officer so I feel pretty good about that! I will be handing out candy and Mr. OL has to wrok. I hope we get lots of kids! I only take pics of the best costumes. I get about 150 kids. I would crash the server.5 yr old nephew will be a Power Ranger, 5 month old nephew will be a Tootsie Roll. :funn: Right now, carving pumpkins for tomorrow, and just finshed the bags of candy. Have to bring my 4 yr.old neohew and sister to the airport tomorrow morning real early, so I won't need a costume tomorrow. I will be dressed as a zombie. :shock:

i don't pass out candy because people bring their kids up here and dump them out by the van loads. it's nothing to see over 200 trick or treaters. it would be one thing if it was neighborhood kids, but i'm not playing this game. plus it tends to be mostly teenagers that can buy their own &^*# candy.

Ok....I was savin' this story for another time, but will tell you since you're so bored.
Thursday night, when I came home from the Texgent, I was only just a little tipsy, but I was really, really tired. So I come in the front door, and I see on the floor what I thought was a hairball the cats had coughed up, but upon closer inspection, after I blink a couple of times, I see that it is A DEAD MOUSE!!! And mr. dd's just sitting on the sofa watchin' tv as calmly as you please. I say..."why is there a DEAD MOUSE" on the floor?" He says, "WHAT!?" I say, "A DEAD MOUSE". He says..."holy sh*t"!
He jumps up, grabs a paper towel and picks it up and removes it. The whole scene was quite comical. Only thing we can figure is the cats outside killed it, and the dog brought it in. I'm just glad I didn't come in and step on the dang thing!
