I don't believe I am naive or brainwashed. What I have is healthy skepticism. I didn't buy into the idea of the Clinton Conspiracies and allowed all the investigations to work their way through before determining where I stood. For the most part that did not change how I felt about Secretary Clinton. I also have issues with President Trump but it started before the accusation of collusion. I think personally that the President is as shady as a 500 year old oak tree and because he says one thing "release the report" and then says something different " Leave it to AG Barr" can lead me to conclude that there is fire cause I can see smoke. Unfortunately, I have very little confidence in Congress or the Political Appointees of President to lay out the truth. I also refuse to wear the tin hat of conspiracy theorists and hope that at sometime in the future, near preferably, the truth comes out. I will say this, with all the attacks by this administration on those in our Intelligence Community, Military Leadership and National Law Enforcement, I still have confidence in their ability to do their jobs. It is the vetting of reports that come through the politicians that concern me.

This is the kind of transparency I am talking about and feel that is important. I know there is a segment who believe Special Counsel Mueller is part of the problem where I see him as part of the solution. Whether anyone believes Special Counsel Starr was an asset, I personally believe he was, even if it did nothing than build a case for future generations and accountability for other Presidents.

Sounds like they are trying to agree how he will testify. In my opinion he should testify publicly and anything less is a cop out. Seeing how AG Barr appears to have cleared the way, and if they can't come to an agreement on his testimony, he should then be compelled.

I would just like to know how the whole thing was started in the first place. Let the chips fall where they may. I think that there was collusion and I think that we are witnessing the obstruction. I think people would like to see if the whole mess was organic or set up and if so by whom. The focus is on the What and I want to know the Why.

As far as I know, no one involved in the investigation, Comey included, is fearful of investigation of the oranges.

Why not get Donald J. Trump to testify. Hillary Clinton testified for ten hours before Congress. Trump's not a coward, is he?

The main problem is the format to be chosen for Mueller to testify. Since all of this is tied up with national security issues, if he testified in open Congressional, televised hearings, he would have to refrain from giving information that would be harmful to continuing investigations or divulge means and methods of surveillance, specifically about our assets to counter the Russians. If he testifies in closed door sessions with congressmen who have security clearance, he could be more forthcoming, but he could never be sure that the Repubs wouldn't leak serious matters that could compromise our national security, to suck up to the president* It's a tough situation.
