CS what out for karma. Hate to see someone you love die that kind of death
Even more so, I'd hate to see someone die like that when it's preventable.

Is a cure for cancer going to come from anti-vaxxer, anti-mask, anti-science alpha males who can't possibly wear a mask because it interferes with their manhood, or is it going to come from scientists who probably wear masks almost daily in their normal intelligent pursuits for knowledge about the diseases that kill us?

I’m sure all of you wear masks. Do you have the cure for cancer? Didn’t think so.
It’s funny you think the mask has anything to do with manhood
Maybe it’s the filtration size vs particle size that made them silly and useless but dont let that get in your way

Mask wearing “real men” having a sad they were outed.
This is my favorite paragraph.

“The activist's "doxxing" of the four plaintiffs as members of Patriot Front cost them their jobs, incomes and relationships with family members, the lawsuit claims.”

They were to chickensht to let their family members know?

If you need a mask to hide your identity to support something you’re backing the wrong cause

You should read that again and realize the sarcasm dripping from the authors words as he used quotes a lot.

Lou is "attractive". - the quotes denote sarcasm.

The fact that so many conservative women find Trump attractive speaks a lot more about what kind of ugly they are normally surrounded by to elevate an obese bald man with a bad self made wig to attractive.
It’s funny you some how took the conservative women being more attractive then their democratic counterparts and turned it into someone they probably aren’t physically attracted to. Odd spin

I was about to post an article from the Mayo Clinic but I think the pictures might help Lou a little more :)

A lot of people died because they listened to those conservative talk shows instead of educated and trained healthcare professionals. Some even decided to become Monday morning scientist. Every person I know that did not get the vaccines wish they had because it was "miserable". I tried to convince so many people to get the vaccine if not for themselves then for friends and family. Why would anyone risk another persons life because of politics? It is shameful, hurtful and sad in my opinion...

It is not that it comes down to whether a mask works or does not work. What it does is minimizes the transmission of droplets containing viruses and when you practice better hygiene and get the vaccine the risk of transmission is lower. So you go to a family reunion or in a grocery store without doing anything your risk of infecting someone is higher. How does this not compute? What is wrong with you?

Hey, you're the one who literally said you "hope" to die the way they did. That's the sad and stupid part.

The anti mask logic follows the anti condom logic. That is that if it's not 100% effective you shouldn't use it. Ironically the right loves to use condoms fail rate of 0.01% to push abstinence only education. If you apply that statistic to any of their other "issues" they call it a rounding error.

Nobody left, no parents, no grandparents but they were all men and they went out like men just like I hope to do one day
Cancer, blood clots, old age, etc.
I’m a little late to this conversation….but, all of your parents and grandparents were men? I’m a little confused here . However, if true that explains a lot.

BTW you recently mentioned your 50th birthday. I know you don’t like vaccines, but you really should consider taking the shingles vaccine. If you really think letting your body do what its supposed to do naturally, you’re in for a rude awakening when it comes it comes that one. Additionally, while you theoretically can’t pass on shingles, a person exposed to you can get chickenpox if they’ve never had it nor been vaccinated.

I'm sorry for the way I word things sometimes
When I say men I do not always mean male, I mean people who handle their business

If all of my people were males I would be voting democrat (that was a joke)

I am not against vaccines, I was not even against this vaccine, Personally I did not take the vaccine because I did not feel the risk was worth the reward.
If I felt at risk I would have taken it but I did not want my kids (whom have not bred yet (thank god)) to take it because I do not have faith that the long term or down stream affects have been seen or weighted out. To me this vaccine was hurried through the process because it needed to be. Once I started seeing who was affected (the old, young, and at risk people) I did not see the point in getting vaccinated. I do not have a problem with people getting vaccinated nor did I have a problem with wearing a mask when I went into someones place of business that wanted them worn. I do have a problem with others telling me to wear a mask.

No one that I deal with daily got the vaccine and we all got covid
It was like every other flu
We took a day or 2 off, ate a few oranges, and were fine
Our bodies worked as intended and life moved on

People who were at risk or who were too scared to be around others should have taken whatever precautions they saw fit but to ask everyone to stay locked down was insane (in my opinion but I am not a doctor, nor did I go to medical school)

To say taking or not taken the vaccine was political is silly at best

I don't like your politics but I think you are intelligent
There is no way on God green earth that this picture above was shown without more context
The most important context being the filtration size of the masks
You know better then most that the mask you where to keep out sawdust and the mask you where to keep out sheetrock dust or paint are different

The top doctors said covid was an airborne disease
They didn't say it was transmitted through the spittle
If it were that would make the masks extremely important but that is not what was sold to us
That being said I didn't go to medical school

Here we go, I never wear a seatbelt either
I believe when my time is up it is up
But I should wear a seatbelt because it is a law

It’s useless so just let it go and do society a favor by letting nature’s survival of the fittest play out.
Just make sure you and those you care about are up to date on inoculations.
Sadly we will see children suffer from right wing stupidity, but we already see that in gun deaths.
Exactly but this might not go the way you think
By getting the vaccine your body is not building the natural immunity you need
You are literally making yourself weaker (unless you keep getting new vaccines till god knows when)

Way to try to work another talking point in on the gun issue

Thank you for the civilized answer. Of course I knew what you meant, otherwise you‘d be a freak of nature. However, it’s interesting that you use ”men“ so much in conversation. I guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

I’m pretty sure you are misinformed about the point of it being transmitted by expired droplets. And I think you seem to overlook that the point of the masks is to lower the chances of a carrier spreading the disease. You know better than most that I don’t wear a mask in the shop to keep from spreading disease to the table saw. The point is empathy and trying to work together as a country to stop the spread.
You stated that the attempt to stop the spread of Covid should never be politicized, but Trump did exactly that. He said on tape that he purposely downplayed the disease. It’s pretty naive to think that did not contribute to the needless deaths of thousands of Americans. You attempt to mock some of the people on this thread for being passionately anti-Trump and anti-GOP, but you seem to be able to overlook that Trump and his sycophants are truly despicable excuses for human beings. I guess you think that’s the manly thing to do.
