Good job in adding Trump for no reason. Consistency is the key
Trump is running for President. Reality is the key.

Yeah that pesky 2nd amendment keeping us all safe from governmental overreach. Maybe one day the left will get it way and we can all work for free or go to the slaughterhouse.
History can be annoying to read, the first thing that every bad society does is take away the peoples right to defend themselves but I'm sure it will go different this time
Just my opinion based on the history of all mankind
Do you think trump or desantis have kept us safe from governmental overreach?

Who is taking away the peoples right to defend themselves? Trump outlawed bump stocks.

People who try to defend themselves from the US Military is not going to go well.

You do not know history. You do not know the constitution. You should focus on what you do know.

Aren't you too old for all that emotion
Trump and Desantis are not trying to curb any weapons from private use
Biden has made it very clear he would love to take away options from citizens
Do you think civilians would be fighting the US military?
Didn't rag tags defeat the greatest military in the world to found America, they would be disgusted by how weak some of our population is
What history don't I know?
Which constitution don't I know?

Make sure you bring him up in every situation so everyone knows he is in every single thought you have

It was written when there was no standing army and militias (yea they are prominently mentioned) were the means to defend the newly formed country with their ball and powder single shot weapons. You ammosexuals love to leave out the part about protecting the state.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State”
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

So why is it sooo infringing to pass a background check or wait 3 days?

The funniest part as you all cower with too many guns to use insisting the government is going to take them, are also extremely busy pointing out how incompetent our government is. Kind of like that beaten down old man who doesn't know what day of the week it is, but is also a criminal mastermind. Y'all supposedly worry about the narrative while carrying two at the same time.

What weapons for private use do you want citizens to have.
What options are you being deprived of.
Militia means ordinary citizens or civilians so yes.
Are you saying that rag tags could defeat the US military if they were not weak.
American History.
The United States Constitution.

Maybe Biden should just say he wants to suspend the constitution like trump wants to do and see RW heads detonate.

Funny that we're talking about the 2nd amendment and a tyrannical government....

who said it's infringing to wait 3 days?

The fact that the government talks about infringing on any of our rights is hysterical because they do not grant them to us

The rest looks like a mput copy and paste

American History.
The United States Constitution.
Any and all weapons, see the 2nd amendment for clarity
I don't even know all the options but I would say I am fairly happy with the current selection
I wouldn't mind owning a tank
I think rag tags that are protecting their homes shouldn't be underestimated (see the American revolution)
I blow you out of the water on American history and am willing to wager accordingly
You are definitely smarter then me so lets pick a venue, put up some money, and put it to the test. It will be as easy win for someone like you

'Abundant evidence' shows Trump engaged in insurrection and cannot hold office: conservative scholars

They are so sure of it that 'The findings are set to be published next year in The University of Pennsylvania Law Review article.'

I’m not smarter than you. I am not better than you. I am not your enemy. I don’t have the answers to life and death. I am just a human being. Living. Making mistakes. Learning.

It’s the word findings right there in blue.
Now that’s hysterical!
I quoted the article you linked. I have no idea how to make words blue

The first sentence says a lot.
From the Jefferson Memorial
Southeast Portico:
"I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions, but laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths discovered and manners and opinions change, with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy as a civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors."

The question is. Do you think our minds are more progressed? Are we are more enlightened? More developed? Have we found new truths?

Yes, in the context of the Jefferson quote. Back in the day, the founding fathers were dealing with muskets. Today we’re with assault rifles. I for the life of me can’t see why a private citizen has the need for such a weapon. However, that horse left the barn a long time ago. So I would love to see severe restrictions on buying ammo.

Do you think we are? I am starting to see a separation between the enlightened and close minded , progressives and conservatives, truthful and false prophets and finally wealth (non producing) and working class (producing). If our schools can’t teach the truth then we have allowed government to control development of young minds. The truth is hard but necessary for development. I have always believed that human life itself means generational learning and development. I never ever believed I would see what is happening now. Can’t blame all this on politics so has our species reached a limit. Hopefully this is just a blip.

Use the whole sentences, there are other reasons for change.
"As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths discovered and manners and opinions change, with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times."

In my job we had a couple of sayings.
"2 things we hated, change and the way things are"
And
"100 years of tradition impeded by progress"

We have people who are stuck. We have folks teaching from the pulpit of society about what the Founding Father's intent was from 2A, Religion. Seems the positive side of slavery is back in vogue, sarcasm intended. We have had politicians who want to usurp the will of the people and the Constitution, and was certainly IMO considering it based on what his own people around him believed. I believe, whether it has happened before or this is the first time that there should be some oversight, ethics that doesn’t allow for what I believe is happening on the Supreme Court. Change is hard, but sometimes it needs to occur. But if you believe those insurrectionist on January 6th were well within their right to do what they did, then you would have to believe the methods used by BLM and Antifa to make change by their riotous actions are just as right. I DON'T
Changing the Constitution of the United States SHOULD NOT BE EASY, and there are mechanism to do it.

Guess Senator Tuberville is homesteading in Florida. Curious how that works in voting?

The way he's undermining military readiness, he might as well be living in a Moscow suburb.
