We've talked about this and I don't think anyone is organizing it so ....I'm going to get us started! I think the ornaments should be mainly handmade but if you saw something at a store that reminded you of that person you could pick that up too. We could all wait and open our packages together one night in December, an ornament postathon if you will. Or some other funn plan...I'm open to any and all suggestions. Participation is not an option*!!!!! Grinches, bah humbuggers, you know who you are;-) ....this will put you in the C'mas spirit.

I have created a new email just for this purpose. Please email OLbunnyfunn@aol.com with your sowal name and your real name and address.* I will draw names and send you your person!

*Lurkers need not apply! (not to be rude--we wouldn't know anything about you) 500 posts+ or you are new and chatty.( Beach Jacket comes to mind plus we already kind of know her)

what a great idea! you could just mail a huge box of all kinds of craft materials so they can have lots of options and make whatever they want! :clap_1: "here is your ornament, please assemble at your convenience... please find the enclosed 45 items (popsicle sticks, pine cones, glitter, glue, yarn, pipe cleaners, ribbon, felt.. bottle of wine.......... and have a merry one"

well, i started several ornaments last night - some are unrecognizable as ornaments. even mr audie who normally doesn't say much about anything said "surely to god you are not gonna give that thing to somebody" (insert bird-flipping smiley here).

all i got to say is this : secret pal - this was made with lots of love, and it has lots of character, sorry, but i should have had my nephew make it.....
i was so aggravated i painted my fingernails with the paint used to stain clear bulbs. NOTE TO SOWALLERS: this is not a good idea. i have to go shopping with green, red and blue fingernails because this paint hermetically sealed to my nails.. mom's gonna love this !

I started my ornament last night and before I knew it, it was 2 am.

Well, I am not a boy, but I will chime in. I went to Hobby Lobby today and managed to get mine done. It is in the bubble wrap in the box ready to be mailed tomorrow. To the person that get's it. God love you.

Ditto. I had to get in bed today

and I really wanted to go to the city to Rockefeller Center for the tree lighting. Watched it on TV though and Taylor Hicks rocked Rockefeller! :wub:

I currently have a glue gun. I have had quite a few in my lifetime- they get thrown out when I occasionally come to the conclusion that I hate Martha Stewart's guts.
