Sueshore, I can totally relate. I think that some of my posts are in the middle of the night. My college students love me because they know they can email me questions 24/7, and I'll be awake to help them.
On the subject of this thread, yes, the numbers of posts have really dropped. Like Nelly might say in another version of "Hot in Herre" :
It's gettin' hot in herre
So take off all your posts.
I am gettin' so hot, I'm gonna turn my computer off!

No more *****en about the heat. If you cannot take the heat, move to Greenland. Just kidding. I am staying in a house without A/C so I understand all about landlocked's K5 without A/C. I, too, had a car with a busted A/C for a long time, but the heat was bad only in the Summer. The temp in this house is about 95 at the moment, and I have a little prespiration on my body. Actually, many of the older homes in Asheville never had A/C. Thank God for Dr. Gorrie.

I have a freind that lives in a $1mm+ house in Ashville. No a/c  For $1mm I'm gonna have me some a/c

I would like to nominate Sueshore for President
Y'all are hysterical! Well, we know one thing...I certainly have the time for the job!!! Between mopping my brow and mopping up tinkle we are racing through a roll of Bounty a day! Thank God for puppies!

Hey guys...when you even mention no A/C, I start melting!!! I gave my housekeeper $200 in June because her A/C was out in her car and I couldn't stand the thought of her in this heat!

southof30AI live about 12 miles north of town. Being able to leave the house in the morning, ski all day and still be home for dinner is why I like Denver in the winter.
Where are you in Denver? I am central, northwest of the Cherry Creek Mall.
Last week was brutal but maybe we actually will have a monsoon this summer.
I can't even take Denver winters anymore, mild as they may be. I wish I could throw away my snow shovel for good.

I'm thinking about just putting a window unit AC in the back seat of my truck. That would do the job

Okay, I'm officially finished with my moaning about the hot weather. I saw a forecast for our soldiers in Iraq. 122 degrees. I'm done.

Puts things into perspective. A cool 84 in the Nooga today.

It finally coolded down here up in NYC! :clap_1:
I'll tell you what...these yankees sure do complain about the heat. The worst has been going all over the city on job interviews and showing up sweating! Not to mention the fact that I just had and interview and forgot to change into my heels. I walked in the door with black Reefs on! Nedless to say...didn't go too well. :idontno:

I never skied much in the first place, and the spouse has pretty much given it up after tearing his achilles. But both our sons snowboard.
Me, I prefer the beach, no matter what the season, and swimming is my favorite form of exercise.
