if i have to listen to john mccain say "my friends" one more time, i'm going to spit out my water. if that isn't bad enough, he is just recycling his lies. he and sarah make a good team. actually, he can string sentences together so he has the upper hand. to add to all of this, today, while palin was speaking in clearwater and mentioned obama, someone in the crowd yelled out "kill him". palin did and said nothing. fabulous mentality, ya think?

Right here!
They are both rehashing the same old lines and bi***ing at each other.. very negative. The country's financial system is spiraling downward and both these guys would rather complain about the other guys record while avoiding the issues. I'm finding the whole thing very draining, and if I had a choice I wouldn't vote for either of these loosers.

On the few things they do address having to do directly or tangentially, with the economy, their information is outdated in this rapidly changing environment. McCain needs to update his $700,000,000 to "countries that don't like us very much" and to be fair I'll try and remember what Obama was talking about when he sounded particularly clueless (imo) to anyone paying attention these days.

I actually like him calling us friends - he doesn't talk down to people - he embraces them - that is what you do in a townhall setting. :dunno: Isn't it supposed to be a more intimate setting? If you go in with a defense mechanism, then people will put a wall up - how do you break through that without making people feel willing to listen?

By stopping the bs'ing and lying through your teeth. This applies evenly to both sides.

I like him calling us "friends" too. I wish he meant it.

Everybody's got some kind of verbal tic, a phrase they use when thinking of what's coming next.

"My friends..." is his; I guess it's better than UUUUHHHH...
