The Village of Baytowne Wharf & Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort announce great gumbo paired with first-rate family fun at the Gulf Coast’s favorite winter food event – the 34th Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival, held on Saturday, February 25th at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. People from all over the southeast are expected to join in the festivities! This ticket is for the Main Event on Saturday, February 25th from 12pm-4pm. Ticket includes unlimited samplings of gumbo & bloody marys.
The Sandestin Gumbo Festival has been known as one of the largest and most popular winter food events along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Now in its 34th year, the event takes over Baytowne Wharf. On Saturday, Feb. 25th from 12-4 p.m. guests will enjoy live Zydeco music from Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe, family activities and the best gumbo cook-off on the Gulf Coast.
Best Bloody Mary's at The Beach is part of the tradition at Gumbofest! Taste some of the finest Bloody Marys served up by bars and restaurants from around the Emerald Coast. AND you're the judge! Vote for your favorite and help them win the title of "Best Bloody Mary at The Beach"!

This winter festival favorite is back for its 34th year! Dark or light roux? Chicken, sausage or seafood? Gulf Coast restaurants will compete for the title of ‘Best Gumbo on the Emerald Coast.” Vote for your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner as celebrity judges deliberate over who will take home the top prize. The afternoon will also feature live music and children’s activities.
The Best Bloody Mary’s at The Beach competition is BACK! Taste some of the finest bars and restaurants’ Bloody Mary’s AND you’re the judge! Vote for your favorite and crown the “Best Bloody Mary at The Beach!”
EVENT WILL HAPPEN RAIN OR SHINE. The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public - those participating in the tasting will receive a wristband to distinguish from other guests.
