To host a bonfire on the beach is very simple. If you want, you can do it yourself by getting the permit from the South Walton Fire District (SWFD). Their number is (850) 267-1298.

From SWFD website:

All you will need is a small burn barrel or tub, wood, and friends! You must clean it up by 8 a.m. the next morning.

If you want to be worry free and hassle free, call Scooter or Cheri at Grayton Beach Catering. They will set it up, obtain the permit, bring the wood, light the fire, provide smores, and clean it all up for just $300.

Contact them by visiting their website at http://graytonbeachcatering.com/ or calling them at (850) 231-4158. They will be happy to help you throw the bonfire of the year!

Thanks for the information. Does anyone know if you can have these anywhere up and down the beach (aside from the stated brochure restrictions)? Specifically wondering about Watersound.
