Since I have become an all around pest on message boards I decided to take advice and start a new thread. I love buzzwords that mean nothing. Little disingenuous words amuze me. Gov. Scott spoke about making government accountable in his campaign. I couldn't agree more but usually those words are uttered because it sounds cool. School Districts in particular in this state are accountable to no one or no agency. When you have convoluted, situational codes of ethics that are applied selectively it makes a mockery of government. There is a code of ethics dealing with ethical treatment of educators by administrators. Well surprise! That code doesn't apply to "annual contract" teachers who occupy the same position in the pecking order as serfs in days of old. I don't understand why we can't simplify our ethics laws and have the same standards apply to everyone.
