Parents, get your holiday shopping done while the kids enjoy a fun filled afternoon with friends! BASE Camp is pleased to announce 3 exciting workshops taking place on the beautiful campus of South Walton Montessori Academy on the first 3 Wednesdays in December.
Wednesday, December 3 is ECO EXPLORERS
Wednesday, December 10 is AFRICAN WILDLIFE SAFARI
Wednesday, December 17 is WINGS AND WANDS
Workshops are open to all children ages 3 to 12. You do not have to attend the Montessori Academy to participate. Teachers will be available to walk students from Bay Elementary.
Cost is only $25 per class. Classes begin at 2:45 and pick up is 5:30.

Montessori Academy offers workshops for children


Become an Eco Explorer with Sarah Gibson and Beth Brock at the South Walton Montessori Academy workshop held Dec. 3, 2:45-5:30 p.m.
Students will be taught about the interconnectedness of nature and the importance of stewardship through reading and discussing ?The Great Kapok Tree? and Dr. Seuss?s ?The Lorax.? Literature will come alive through the stories as students participate in interpretive yoga and learn about community ecology in a fun, engaging and interactive environment.
The group will explore Eden Garden State Park, observing the plant and animal inhabitants of Eden while collecting nature samples, making bark and leaf rubbings, and creating a special art collage to take home. A snack of ?Ants on a Log? will be provided
Workshops are $25 and open to all children ages 3- 12. You do not have to attend the Montessori Academy to participate. Teachers will be available to walk students from Bay Elementary.
