Last week in SoWal, we were able to see quite clearly, on several consecutive nights, four (4!) planets aligned with the moon. We were fairly certain and had semi-reliable info it was Jupiter, Mars, Saturn and either Mercury or Venus. They were almost horizontal in the southern sky with 3 planets to the right (west) of the moon with Mars to the left (east).

It was just incredible and once in our lifetime, I heard. Also, I heard a suggestion that it may have been the dawning of the Age of Aquarius??

SOOO... I went and found the lyrics by 5th Dimension. Not as enlightening as I'd hoped but here they are.

What/when is the 7th house?? Anyone else see it or know anything about the alignment (from our point of view, of course) or astrology?

Age Of Aquarius

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
The Age of Aquarius
Aquarius! Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions

Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius! Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
The Age of Aquarius
Aquarius! Aquarius!

Let the sun shine, Let the sun shine in
The sun shine in
Let the sun shine, Let the sun shine in
The sun shine in

(repeat ad infinitum)

The Seventh House
Prepared by Rose Glavas QA (FAA)

Are you ready to have a good look into the Seventh House? This is a good question to ask because this house reflects back to us everything that we don't recognise in ourselves - the good, the bad and the ugly! By examining the symbolism found here we have the opportunity to view what we have not yet integrated into ourselves - our shadow qualities.
Traditionally the Seventh House represents the marriage or business partner, cooperation - and its lack, open enemies, legal contracts, court trials, formalities and our ability to get along with others. It is also known as the Descendant. The Seventh is opposite the First House: therefore the Seventh is the furthest from the First out of all the houses.

In the Sixth House we found our boundaries, learnt to look after our bodies and found out how we work with others and perform our duties. The symbolism in the Seventh House shows us what type of qualities we find in other people in a one-on-one situation, how we approach marriage or business partnerships, how we experience our enemies, and the qualities we seek in a partner.

Let's have a look at an example of Seventh House symbolism - we'll take a look at the Moon.

The Moon is associated with feeling, women, the home, mother, the unconscious, nurturing and fluctuation. Mixing these themes with the Seventh House ones does offer a wide variety of interpretation.

Since the Seventh House is associated with our experience of other people we may tend to see those around us as being motherly, nurturing, changeable (like the Moon itself), caring and sometimes illogical.

In a partnership situation nurturing may be an important element between the individuals involved - the person with the Seventh House Moon may carry unconscious issues involving one of the parents (most probably mother) into a marriage. The Moon represents fluctuation, so a person with this placement may find that their feelings towards others, particularly partners, change frequently.

When meeting this symbolism through projection an individual may feel uncomfortable in dealing with the emotions of other people or envy the ease in which others express their feelings. In most of the personalised charts I have prepared, the Seventh House Moon often indicates that the individual felt the mother, or nurturing parent, was somehow out of reach or 'disconnected' from them. This early relationship with the mothering figure naturally would impact on the person's own ability to relate to their own emotional nature.

What does Age of Aquarius mean?

http://www.adishakti.org/age_of_aquarius.htm

Excerpt from this interesting looking site:
(not reviewed thoroughly - hope there's nothing controversial in it)

"You are probably familiar with the term New Age, and you may have heard or read about the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. This simply means that we are leaving one age (Pisces), and entering into a new one (Aquarius). This happens every two thousand years - the last one coinciding with the arrival of Christ.

What does this have to do with you? Well, it has quite a lot to do with you and everyone else on the planet. For a start, if you haven't already undergone any changes, you might be feeling the urge to change now, or you may be witnessing changes around you. Either way, you will certainly be aware that life on planet Earth seems to be going off the rails in one way or another.

This is characteristic of the changing of the Ages as people struggle to adapt to the new energies. You will also have noticed certain major developments - such as science, computers and technology, all of which are now forming the backbone of our society. UFO's, alternative medicine, astrology, vegetarianism and other subjects previously considered weird or cranky are growing rapidly in popularity, and are all subjects associated with the sign of Aquarius. These subjects will become more and more commonplace, and astrology and other 'mystical' methods of self-help and understanding will help people to become more in tune with their spiritual selves in preparation for the New Age..."
