The Forrest Williams Band
Forrest picked up the guitar when he was 14 years old and has been playing ever since. He grew up listening to Rock, Blues, Country, and Folk music from the 60's up to present day. His style covers a variety of music, incorporating the acoustic guitar and the harmonica. His vocal range can cover a large variety of music ranging from Country to Soul to good ol' Rock n' Roll .. ..

Alys Beach, FL - (March 15, 2011) - Presented by The Alys Foundation: Please join Alys Beach for a Spring Concert Series featuring the unforgettable Jason D. Williams on April 6, and other outstanding local musicians.
Straight from Memphis, TN and the birthplace of Rock and Roll, Jason D. Williams is an unbelievable talent. His Rockabilly style in the tradition of Jerry Lee Lewis will leave you not fully understanding or believing, but is not soon forgotten. A wild man onstage, he has been compared to Jerry Lee Lewis so often that rumors started in Memphis that he was the Killer's son. The influence of Lewis comes through in his high-energy performances, Williams says, but his songs get him to a different place. As he says, "It's Jerry Lee Lewis meets Jackson Pollock and Jerry Lee Lewis meets Joe Namath." Traveling together for more than 23 years, touring the world over, this group has entertained & amazed crowds young and old, famous and infamous, and will be in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre on Wednesday, April 6 from 6-9pm.
In addition to Jason D. Williams, The Alys Foundation will host The Forrest Williams Band on March 16, Boukou Groove on March 23, Tennessee Firearms on April 13, and Bill Garrett & Friends on April 27 from 6-8pm in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre. DERWIN "BIG D" PERKINS
NOLA born and raised guitarist.
Big D's career began in church. It wasn't long after, that his uncompromising guitar style was noticed NOLAS top acts.He is an integral part of the New Orleans music scene, recording and sharing the stage with artist such as the late Raymond Myles, Jon Cleary, Bonnie Raitt, Davell Crawford, N'Dea Davenport, The Neville Brothers, Dia-mon, Anthony Bailey, Lil Romeo and Marva Wright just to name a few. Along with playing he has also become a sought out Songwriter and Producer .
DONNIE SUNDAL
His voice and sound is soulful, funky, and always rock solid. Donnie?s ability to weave seamlessly among genres, allowing him to perform with many of today?s well known artists, Junior Marvin (Bob Marley and the Wailers), Sam Bush, Eric Lindell. In 2010 earned an endorsement from Moog Music.
After attending Berklee College of Music and touring Canada, Donnie settled Atlanta where his band opened for reggae acts such as Jimmy Cliff, Third World, and Burning Spear. He and his family found themselves in Destin, Fl.,now home base while touring and in the past few years opened, Neptone Recording Studio.
JEFFERY "JELLYBEAN" ALEXANDER
His musical roots stem back to Reserve, Louisiana where he grew up. Jeffery has been on the music scene since he was child...backing up local bands and popular artist. Jeffery has played with some of music greatest artist including Papa Grows Funk, Lightning Blues, Jon Cleary,George Porter, Jr & the Running Parders, Marva Wright, Snooks Eaglin...just to a name a few. His ability to play as a seasoned professional gives him a stay in the music scene and on the hearts of artists who respect his ability to hold back and then let go when necessary.

Jeffery ?Jellybean? Alexander and Derwin "Big D" Perkins recently were seen in the HBO New Orleans series TREME, episode #9 6/14/10 ?Wish SomeJone Would Care.? Jellybean is playing drums in two scenes with Jon Cleary...Big D Perkins is also playing guitar in these scenes. Jellybean will also be featured in the blockbuster action movie, The Green Lantern (June 2011 release) starring Ryan Reynolds.
