depends on the date
I was wondering if anyone can post some recent photos of the beaches and walkovers infront of Seaside and Watercolor?

Thanks....just wondering how the beach healing process is coming along?

I am heading to the beach in a minute, and will pop by Seaside and take a few pics for you. I may not post until tomorrow.

Nothing like cool, evening sand under the feet to end the day.

Well, I am sitting here and the car is here picking up the husband and son who will arrive at VPS around 9:00 tonight. I am not bitter. I actually just ran off the restaurant list from the board for them to put in the guest book! WC here they come!

Caught the guys on loaders scraping the beach at Seaside. These were taken Aug 11 2005 from the Pensacola Pavilion. It appears that this is the second scraping and you will notice they stopped today at the Pensacola Pavilion. The sand piles to the west look less than half the size of the new piles to the east. In front of WaterColor, it appears that it has not been scraped at all.

What are the plywood boxes ?

They are use to store the beach chairs and umbrellas which Seaside rents to guests. They set them up and break them down daily, unlike the perma-tents which many people leave out at Grayton.

Thanks for the update SJ. Who are THOSE people (father and daughter?) climbing up by the walkover in what looks like a gorge? No khakis/ white shirts, but the nerve! What words did you have for them or did you just push them back down and tell them to try again?
