Hey guys,

Just to put some things in perspective...after moving to Sowal for about 4 months for a job...that is no longer...I am going to have to move back to the big city. We took a "freak" trip to Coney Island to just get a peak of the closest beach to the city. See the attached picture. It's frightning! You can't even take floats into the water! Not to mention, they have one PLASTIC PALM TREE that spits out water that mixes with the nasty sand and makes a clay/mud mixture. AHHH! So as rough as the restoration is on the beaches in Sowal...know it will NEVER get as bad as what is about to become my "new beach"!!! :bang:

Started in B'ham...went to Auburn...NYC...Sowal and now back to NYC. If I can find a good PR/Marketing job in Sowal I'll stay- but that's a tough market in the area.

The beach is awful...even worse...the beach goers. Nobody should complain about Sowal tourists. Trust me!

Sorry to hear that. Went to Auburn, too. War Eagle!

I'm sure there are plenty of PR jobs between SoWal and New York.

War Eagle!

There are a lot inbetween...but not many in Sowal :sosad:

I'll just have to find me a nice boy with a house in the Hamptons! Too bad the water is too cold up there too. Can't win!

We've lived in SoWal for quite a while now. We have to force ourselves to leave town to go on vacation. And when we do, one of our favorite vacation destinations is NYC. We love it up there! It's fun to be in the big city for a change. And, OMG - the food!!! You shall have to keep us posted on NYC stuff - send more pix.
