As I drive around I'm amazed at how much building is going on. What do you think about 5,000+ sf houses going up in older neighborhoods north of 98 that are listing for $2mil+ - is there a big demand?
Not sure which area you’re referring to, but just like gulf front lots are desirable, bay front lots are as well and there are no shortage of people with deep pockets looking for a second home with water access for their boat(s). So, short answer is yes. A big demand for those who are looking for it. That being said, I don’t know too many that are like 8+ bedroom McMansions like we have on the Gulf side.
