In ATL this week there was a missing 79 yo woman. They found her driving in continuous loops around I-285. Really funn (not). I totally avoid 285 due to the aggressive 18-wheelers. I'd rather sit in traffic on the connector.

Didn't a new Atlanta Falcons player do that (that is, get lost and do loops on 285) about 15 years ago?

I've done loops on 285, I think it was about 2-3.

Yes! I remember that BR, but I thought he was a Braves player. He was teased to death about that little trip! Didn't he miss the game or either very late??

Um 285, Braves, loop?
Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Pascual Perez missed a 1982 game where he was supposed to be the starting pitcher, by circling I-285 twice. Thereafter, his nickname was "Perimeter Perez."

I thought that would be too obscure to find without drilling down. But it was the first hit! Thanks, SWGB.
