Cruise Through Fall in SoWal on SunQuest Cruises SOLARIS. Sip, savor and sail as sparkling waves and soft breezes set the mood for SunQuest Cruises’s Autumn Harvest Champagne Dinner Cruise on Friday, September 21st from 7 – 10 p.m. SunQuest Cruises presents the ultimate way to kick off the fall season in beautiful South Walton on a 125 foot yacht. Patrons will embark on a culinary voyage of four decadent courses all paired with premium champagnes from around the world as well as live music.
“Since our spring Champagne Cruise was so popular, we’ve decided to plan another one; this time, a fall-themed dinner cruise paired with champagnes from Napa Valley, France and Italy,” stated James Murray, Principal for SunQuest Cruises. “Chef Josh has crafted a signature menu that is art for the palette that compliments the champagne and the time of year.”
Once guests board the 125 foot SOLARIS yacht, they can explore all three decks, including the open-air sky deck, a perfect place to take in the crisp fall air and panoramic coastal views. As the SOLARIS yacht cruises the open waters, the “First Chill” Course will be served featuring a Cucumber Watermelon Gazpacho paired with Champagne-Poached Shrimp and Champagne-Mint Crème Fraiche along with Carmenet Champagne. The “Fall Garden” Course will be served next, with Belgian Endive Salad, Champagne-Pickled Beets, Gorgonzola Cheese, Crispy Shallots and Champagne Vinaigrette, paired with Luc Belaire Rosé from France.
The culinary voyage continues with the “Land, Air & Sea” Course, including a Braised Pork Belly and Champagne-Pepper Jelly Glazed Duck Breast over Fall-spiced Butternut Squash Puree and Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass over Champagne Swiss Chard Wild Rice. The main course is paired with Champagne Taittinger from France. The “Sweet Finish” Course features a Maschio Prosecco perfectly paired with a Peach Brûlée with Blackberry-Champagne Crème Anglaise.
The SOLARIS Autumn Harvest Champagne Dinner Cruise is $80 per person including a four-course meal, premium champagne pairings, live entertainment and three-hour cruise. This event is exclusively for guests 21 years of age and older. Boarding begins at 6:40 p.m. with cruise from 7 – 10 p.m. Reservations required online or call 850.650.2519.
