divorce is only expensive if there is a battle (which threre usually is) but in my case there was no contest...so it was reasonable (for a divorce) I didn't have to pay a dime....thank goodness!
There was no battle in mine, but to say it wasn't expensive would be very incorrect. Now my ex-wife might disagree with my statement, becasue it didn't cost her a dime.

Well, mine was not cheap...but it was not near 27,000!
one of the guys at work just got divorced, and it cost him like 60k to get rid of his crazy wife... she was a nut and an idjit so it was worth every penny to do it, but man...that's a chunk of change....

I agree that $27,000 is a lot for a wedding but when you compare that amount to what some pay for an SUV, like $50k or even $75k, it just dosen't seem like that much after all. Inflation is so hard for Mr. JR and me to comprehend sometimes.
