Ok. So to respong to Kurttifunn's request....here is the ballon handler's thread!

Balloon handlers handle the balloons! I think that you just sign up to do it and someone contacts you and they put you with a balloon. It's supposed to be really cool.

They encourage us to recruit people. Should we take over a balloon? Hmmm?

Wouldn't that be great? Here we are at home enjoying our Thanksgiving morning and then on the parade they announce "And next we have that zany group of Funns with the SoWal balloon...blah blah" :funn:

A girl I work with has a card and it says something like...I could never hold one of those big balloons in a parade because I would be dying to know what would happen if we all just let go. So true!
