At yesterdays BCC Public Hearing on the 2015-2016 budget the Board of County Commissioners LOWERED the millage rate from 3.9746 mills to 3.6363 mills.
The new 2015-2016 rate is the same as last years's BCC Millage rate. Owners will now only see a increase in their BCC taxes if they had an increase in their "Assessed Value".
This reduction will translate into a lower tax bill than noticed on your Trim Notice from last month.
