Thank you to those of you that have joined us for happy hour as well as our Sunday Champagne Brunch in the past couple of weeks.

Beginning this week, we introduce early bird dinner specials from 5pm till 6pm, Wednesday through Friday. Each day, Chef Josh will be offering three entrees priced between $8.95 and $12.95. All early bird entrees begin with a salad as well.

This week, the early bird specials are as follows:
Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetables. $8.95
Roasted chicken breast with tomato and herbs over penne pasta $10.95
Seared salmon filet with tarragon cream sauce over rice $12.95

In addition to our early bird specials, we will have live entertainment Wednesdays from 5pm till 8pm. This month, we welcome Wes Heath. Wes is an extremely talented acoustic guitarist/singer/songwriter. If you haven't heard him around the area, check out this link: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=20466853

I just wanted to add a quick note for anyone who may be considering dinner at The Beach Club Friday or Saturday evening.
This weekend, chef Josh will be featuring Braised Lamb Shank with Mushroom Risotto and Crispy Fried Parsnips.
We have paired two wines by the glass with this featured entree. The first is a 2001 Fleur Du Cap "Unfiltered" Cabernet Sauvignon out of South Africa. Dark ruby-garnet in color, this wine has an intensive complex bouquet packed with cherry and cassis with undertones of wood spices. It has a full-bodied entry with a solid tannin structure and a long persistent aftertaste.
The second is a 2005 Lodi Plungerhead Zinfandel. This Zin has a deep purple color with cocoa, vanilla, clove, and cherry pie aromas. Rich and sappy in the mouth with flavors of boysenberry preserves, cedar, dried raspberry, and coconut spice, it finishes with great depth from barrel oak aging.
Come in and see us this weekend and mention you read this post.:D

Might've captured me if I don't stay in being lazy all weekend. Nice description of the wines.
