Nobody should be setting up in front of a lifeguard stand. Period. To do so shows a total disregard for the safety of everybody who is at the beach.

Just want to help with your confusion. The Lifeguard stand in the photo's is not where it is supposed to be. It is on privately owned land, not in the county-owned public Zone. I was informed that the head lifeguard apologized about the movement of the Tower ( who moved it, tourist, public, lifeguards? Is beyond me).
The Lifeguard Tower is now in the middle of the public access, as it should be, and as it was all season long.
Hope this helps!
Please stop showing you beach IQ..THAT STAND HAS NEVER!! Been on private land...GET real....Photos don't lie..

Nobody should move the lifegaurd stand out of the public area onto a contracted beach. To do so shows total disregard for the safety of everybody who is at the beach.
Sounds ridiculous, right? But that's what happened. The lifegaurd stand should have been moved back to it's proper position on the beach, but it took them 24 hours to figure out the misplacement. Totally the vendors fault though, right?

Where are your photos? I was down there yesterday and today. I have my proof with the pictures I posted (see in prior comments) With multiple angles might I add. Get back to me when you're down there multiple days a week like myself.
Just a heads up, Nothing has changed with the vendors set up since March. The only thing that changed is the location that someone moved the lifegaurd stand. Long story short, I know it's not as exciting as "the corrupt vendor has it out for us again".

Do you know what happens when you set up in front of a lifegaurd stand and refuse to move? The sheriff is called. Strange that the sheriff was never called. Strange the vendor wasn't asked to move. Heck, strange they never recieved a ticket.
Possibly because they were in their rights to set up on the property they were on?
Maybe even because the angle of the picture showed something different than the actual situation? But thats never been done...
I'm just a guy that goes down there all the time though. I should really start looking at every picture out there as is. Thanks steel1man for opening my eyes to how everything on the internet is legit.
