Bear on Defuniak

FYI - My husband was walking our dog Friday night about 9pm and a black bear crossed Defuniak headed east between AJ’s and Hibiscus! Needless to say he and the dog were startled that it was so close.

FYI - My husband was walking our dog Friday night about 9pm and a black bear crossed Defuniak headed east between AJ’s and Hibiscus! Needless to say he and the dog were startled that it was so close.

There are photos on here of a momma bear and 2 cubs in Grayton Beach a few years ago.

They hit the dumpsters usually early morning before dawn.

They're shy and harmless unless you get between momma and cub.
