Does anyone know anywhere we can rent a bed just for the holidays? We'd like to get a full size to put in the home office for overflow guests.

John R has one but some girl will probably be sleeping on it.

I get a crib from crib connection in Destin sometimes. They also have rollaway beds. 850-654-8890

Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
I think you could get a nice full or queen size futon with springs inside for not too much more than it would cost to rent a bed for a weekend. (or get two twin size if you want more flexibility). We use one for guests at our home and it's so comfortable. We had it set up for several years without a frame and guests were just fine. We just got a frame for it this year. But be sure to get a futon mattress with the springs inside it. It's higher and much more comfortable than a regular futon mattress.

Then, when your guests leave, you could probably find a place to store it in your house or get a frame and set it up somewhere. Then it would be available to move into the office for future guests (it would fit in the trunk of your car I believe).

Thanks, Paula! I thought of that too, I am always concerned because our guests tend to be older and (as I said) not that spry. I think a futon would be comfy and easier to store.

So, anybody have any recommendations for buying a futon around here?
