U.S. President gives Israel, Palestine billions of dollars
By Andrew Moran.

United States President Barack Obama signed the foreign aid budget law for 2010, which includes $2.8 billion in aid for Israel and $500 million for Palestine.
There has been international criticism in the relationship between Israel and the United States. Earlier this month, as Digital Journal reported, renowned linguist professor Noam Chomsky called Israel a ?military base for the US.?
This week, President Barack Obama signed the 2010 foreign aid budget, which will provide Israel $2.775 billion in security aid to Israel, according to Press TV. Haaretz reported in the spring that Israel was promised $30 billion in foreign aid over the next decade. This near $3 billion is part of that commitment.
In addition to the foreign aid, President Obama and Congress approved special additions to the Israeli defense industries for the development of military technologies such as their missile defense capabilities. Over the last two years, the US has assisted the funding of their Arrow 3 multilevel defense system.
Palestine will be given $500 million for the first time, which includes $100 million for the training of their security forces. General Keith Dayton is in charge of the Palestinian security forces in the West Bank.
However, as Ynet News reports, Palestine will only be given the money if their government accepts the conditions of four international bodies: the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations, which are recognizing the nation of Israel, condemning violence and accept former agreements with Tel Aviv.

I think the money could have been used here to help suffering Americans but thats common sense and common sense no longer exists under this administration.

Obama thinks the only way to fix a sinking ship is to make another hole. Pelosi thinks extending unemployment benefits creates jobs.

Apparently the last presidential administration also thought it was a good idea to send money to Palestine..."fixing a sinking ship" just might possibly solve the Israel/Palenstinian conflict, thus preventing future Middle Eastern wars....unless you think that is really not a good thing?

File this one away with the Obama administration giving 2 billion to Brazil for offshore oil drilling while trying to shut down drilling in the gulf which will cost thousands of US jobs and untold revenue...
