God bless our Troops! And those brave Navy Seals that gave us our country back, and told the world, we will not take attack, and not fight back! A great victory in our fight against terrorism. May we take a breath of relief for the moment, but continue our vigil in making our country safe and fight to make this an example of any entity that tries to supress our spirit of freedom.

Time for everyone to get out those flags that we all so proudly flew in the days after 9/11 and show our troops that we are indeed proud of them.

This is great news - almost surreal and unbelievable!! I still haven't heard the details, but the few seconds of the President's speech I've heard was very good.

Bin Laden was killed. Why am I not feeling such great joy? I see people on TV jumping for joy, but I don't feel that same extreme joy. I'm glad he isn't leading the terrorists, but someone else will jump in his shoes, quickly and terrorism will continue.

"Justice is served," someone said, but I ask, "Is it really?" Our freedoms have been restricted because of the terrorism of 9/11 and thousands of innocent people have died in the process of targeting Bin Laden. We also lost more American soldiers since this war started than died on 9/11, with thousands more wounded. Justice? not really. One leader's death doesn't equate to thousands of lives. The symbol of justice is the scales. The scales will never be balanced from all of this death.

Aside from all the political sqabbling that goes on in the nation and even here on Sowal, it is comforting to know that at the very highest levels of U.S Government that there is seamless cooperation when it comes to protecting we the people. And at this level, I think both the Bush and Obama Administration can take credit for this. (And I can't believe I just said that).
