The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center proudly presents “Olaha,” our very own American Bald Eagle. Olaha hatched in 1993 and has been in captivity most of her entire life. When she was just an eaglet (10 to 12 weeks old), she was blown from her nest during a storm and broke a chest support bone (coracoid) upon impact of the fall. Olaha is semi-flighted and enjoys her life teaching people of all ages the important role that eagles play in our environment. - See more at: http://www.eowilsoncenter.org/about/eagle-cam#sthash.68spUfQx.dpuf
