Apparantly a water main broke. We got a phone call from my boyfriends brother who is a cop in Shalimar, that we need to boil our water and not bathe in it. I called Regional Util. to clarify. If you were in the area of the break and did not have water, you are on the list to boil your water, otherwise you are safe. Thanks for the heads up Capt. John.

When is the boil water alert over? Regional Utilities hasn't updated their website.

So I guess the alert isn't confined to the area near Eastern Lake Road?

Boil water notices normally last 24-48 hours and that depends on when water sample results are returned by the lab.

The alert is confined to the Eastern Lake area, specifically the streets that were listed above.
