what's the difference? i've always, always had standard cable. well, now we have dish and i'm not a fan. it rains, it goes out, the wind blows, out, dogs bark, out.(not really, but) tried buying a movie, pita. so, is direct fairly the same?

I had dish, until I moved. What's better about dish vs direct, is local programming. Except for cbs. A power antenna will bring that in, np. Don't need mediacom then.
