CALL TO ARTISTS
The Downtown Merchants of Historic Fort Walton Beach, Florida invite you every 3rd Friday to "Downtown Art Walk" to set up in participating stores from 5:30pm-8:30pm and display your work. Complimentary beverages and hors d’ oeuvres are served by most merchants.
Our past events were a great success with several artists selling their work. We are seeking artists for our September 18th date and other future events. There is no fee to set up, no commissions to be paid just great exposure and lots of fun. See attached line up of August Artists. http://stellaartinc.blogspot.com/
This month Hugs n Hissyfits and Little Bo Feet will be hosting " Back to School Art", featuring local student art. The Fountain Square will be hosting interactive kid projects such as pottery wheel, tie dye, dimensional art, etc. If you have a fun project for kids and would like to participate please let me know.
October 16th the Fountain Square will be featuring Zombie art to support the Fort Walton Beach Jaycees attempt at breaking the Zombie Walk world record. http://www.fwbjaycees.org/zombie_walk
We have space available in stores on HWY 98 and in the courtyard at "The Fountain Square". Check out the attached map and current list below of participating stores if you have a store preference let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. Please notice some stores only have space available outside for display they are noted in the list below. If you are a merchant and already have an artist please let me know.
If you must cancel once confirmed please notify me 24 hours before the event. Please provide information requested below and a photo of your work or website info. The website and photo are used to help pair you with a merchant that would compliment your work it is not required to participate in the event. I usually send out confirmation of participation 10 days and 48 hours prior to events via email.
We appreciate your interest in the Downtown Art Walk and would love to have you participate. I am available any time Thursday- Saturday noon - 7pm at my store "Stella Art" if you would like to discuss further. The store is located at the Fountain Square located at 196 Miracle Strip Parkway.
