We are looking for a caregiver (or two) to help care for my 80-year-old mother. The job entails: assisting with mobility in and out of the house; bathing, dressing and hygiene; cooking; light housekeeping; running errands; and very important to note, she is immobile so she needs considerable help in transferring--in other words the caregiver needs to be strong and have a good back. We are not looking for a "sitter", but rather someone with experience in health care who can handle a 125 pound elderly lady. Also--patience, kindness, respect, a good nature, flexible and a good communicator are all qualities we are looking for. We currently need someone all day on Sundays and in the afternoon/evenings on Mondays. We also have a couple of overnight shifts available. But our top priority are the 2 day shifts.
