I understand that fires are generally not permitted on the beaches in South Walton (except at Grayton with a permit). What about a small charcoal grill?

In addition to just getting a casual answer to this, can someone point me to the regulations that govern this issue? We'll be staying in the Seacrest/Rosemary area. Thanks.

I'd like to know the answer to this myself - we've cooked on the beach before in a little 14" charcoal grill (had a handle so we could carry it off w/o burning hands) but dunno if it was 100% kosher that we did that. :dunno:

I cooked on Seagrove beach with a little charcoal grill also. (Great Time) I would be interested in knowing the rules for this also.

We grill out on the beach in Seagrove all the time - I subscribe to the theory of begging for forgiveness - not asking permission. Never had a problem - but we leave no trace behind!!!
