Thanks Aggie and Johnrudy, I know there is not much more to take pictures of than the cabins and the lake, but I finally got to take pictures of the horses which have never been out when we've been there. It is very peaceful there for sure. All 13 cabins were full up for the weekend. A very good place that is no more than about 2 hours away from Memphis.
A great place to get away from it all. We missed the bad storms there yesterday, however, it did thunder off in the distance and stayed cloudy and very windy all day and that cold front pushed through and cooled things off where you could not do much outside. But tell that to all the kids around. It didn't stop them.
Aggie, I did not know your hubby worked the golf course there. That is pretty cool!
I like the great bridge and the cabin looks adorable. Did you ride any horses?

No Allifunn, I did not get to ride any horses. We did not get to check in until nearly 3:00 in the afternoon Thursday and there were storms overnight Thursday night so the horses were put in the stable and were not out again until we left Saturday morning to go home unfortunately. It was not very pretty weather at all Friday, windy, cool and stormy. But the peacefulness was nice.
The cabins are not very big, there is a bedroom with twin beds and a living room with a table and couch and a full size bed and a small kitchen and a relatively small bathroom. It's kind of roughing it somewhat without actually staying outdoors in tents. But I enjoy it. We have been 3 times.

Looks like a nice little place. Glad you had fun! Anything on the water is a good thing. ;-)
You are right, it is not the beach but is nice. It does have a sand beach over at the swimming area though, but it sure does not compare to the gulf.
