Florida Legislature exploring change to school districts by city
Requires a Constitutional change. So good question as to cost. And the way the Politicians in Tallahassee have continued to pass on their portion of education cost to the local taxpayer, be interested to see how this would work. At this time, imo, to many questions not enough answers.

School superintendents said the system of countywide districts works well and saves taxpayers' money. They said increasing the number of school districts statewide would cause administrative costs to skyrocket, without actually improving student outcomes.

How would it work in Walton County?

Defuniak Freeport and Paxton could have their own school districts?

Personally I dont think it would work well in a rural county

They consolidated many of the city districts in Alabama because the funding was not there and the schools struggled to provide many of the programs parents wanted.
