There will be a cold weather shelter open from 5pm to 7am every night through Monday morning at the DeFuniak Civic Center located at 361 N. 10th Street. in DeFuniak Springs.
There are 23 beds at the Panama City shelter and they had 80 people the other night. No one is turned away. They will take hats, gloves, blankets, coats if you want to help. I imagine the DeFuniak shelter would also welcome items.
