Color of Gulf

I have been coming to 30a for several years and recently bought a second home in January. I have been here various times of the year and know that the color of the Gulf isn't always the emerald color and changes with the weather. However, this is the first time in the summer that I've seen it this murky. How long after the typical weather we've had over over the past week does it take for the water to turn back to the beautiful blue-green?

It could be a few days if the wind dies down but it's been so stormy it might take a while. Also the lakes are open and Lake water flowing into the Gulf colors it.
