BEWARE SOUTH WALTON! ATLANTA SPRING BREAK IS NOT EVEN HERE YET!
Four teens from Atlanta, including three juveniles, were arrested following an attack on Beach Bike Way in Seacrest Beach, the Walton County Sheriff's Office reported on Saturday night! Seacrest Beach is a very busy tourist neighborhood on the east end of Highway 30A with hundreds of large homes and condominiums filled with families on spring break.
Deputies responded to reports of a large group fighting in the street and when they arrived, several people ran, and four people — three juveniles and an 18-year-old — were arrested..
According to witnesses, the altercation began when two drunk juveniles approached the porch of a residence offering to sell alcohol. When the residents refused, one juvenile began punching one of the residents in the face.
Adult family members came outside and joined the brawl. Two more of the Atlanta teens started pummeling the victim.
Several people in their 60s were injured, including bruising and a chipped tooth, according to the WCSO. One adult resident suffered a broken arm but declined to press charges.
All four suspects were charged with battery. The three juveniles and the 18-year-old were all from Atlanta, Georgia.

Holy crap. That’s terrible that someone was minding their business in their home and then this happened. They should totally press charges. Broken arm, broken tooth. Goodness. That’s gonna cost someone
The judge should throw the book at all four of them going on personal property and assaulting a senior citizen a broken arm and broken tooth that’s pretty bad.

This area use to be a family destination and Panama City was the “party destination” it’s unfortunate that’s no longer the case.
Also, who sold them (or got them) the alcohol? Whether from ATL or not, the aggressors are the result of many other issues in today’s society, most mentioned on this thread.

I am deeply troubled by the recent public dissemination of a case involving juveniles by this department on social media.
It is both legally questionable and morally concerning that a police department would attempt to try a pending matter in the court of public opinion—especially one involving children. This violates fundamental principles of due process, the privacy rights of minors, and the presumption of innocence. Social media is not the venue for legal adjudication.
Furthermore, I possess clear video evidence from that night which reveals a much different reality than the narrative being pushed online. In the video, an adult is seen striking a child in the head with what appears to be a deadly object (her liquor bottle) , while shouting disturbing threats. This is not the image of “peaceful adults defusing a situation.” There are always two sides to every story, and I would caution the department not to propagate one-sided narratives for the sake of public engagement or digital praise.
I strongly encourage the Walton County Sheriff's Department to prepare to receive a formal cease and desist letter, and I urge your leadership to reconsider how such sensitive matters are handled publicly. The dignity of every child, every citizen, and the integrity of the justice process must be upheld above all else.
This is just so sad in so many ways... Sadly Atlanta week is still weeks away.
I have friends with a house on Beach Bike Way in Seacrest! I hope it wasn’t their house where this happened.

I wish the state could pick up charges on behalf of the person with the broken arm. No consequences will only create more victims down the road.
Not from 30A but have been ….. the parents of juveniles that rent houses in their name for these kids to be able to stay anywhere without being there and supervision should be charged as well.
I mean it's like seasoned a year or two ago when that guy was beaten for telling kids to quit shooting fireworks into people's houses. And the parents come down on vacation with their kids and want a vacation from their kids. Maybe if you managed your trashy kids, this would happen less.
