Contractor for two story screen porch

I have an idea to build a 2 story screen porch on one of our homes in SoWal .
I have talked with one contractor and had to get out the defibrillator , ( 75k for a porch !!! ) Granted if is definitely more than just a porch but , Damn ?!?!?!

Any help or recommendations are always welcome .

When we built our garage apartment ("Guest House" in South Walton-ese), we got bids as high as $150K. We got it done for $75K. Lots of folks out there who aren't interested in ripping people off, who just want to do a good job and get a good price for it.

YO! BO! Just happened to bump across your thread about the porch. You might want to try the guy who did my deck at home. His name is Aaron and his company is called Construction and Such. Our deck of 1200 square feet is sturdy as heck and Aaron and his crew were done within a week and a half.

We got bids from several contractors in the area, but Aaron was completely fair with us - and even gave us money back in the end because the materials went down in price! Whoa!

He has a website - I think it's constructionandsuch.com or maybe .net . . . I'm not for sure . . . but check it out! There was a photo of our deck on his site at one time . . . not sure if it's still there, but it might be!!
