I think Florida springs are among the most beautiful places in the state. So natural and wild and unspoiled. And so cold. Sooooo cold.

It usually takes me about an hour to get in, inch by freezing inch (and this is coming from a New Englander)! But once the deed is done you can hardly get me out of that water since it's so incredibly refreshing, particularly when the summer temp is hovering around the 100 degree mark. There's really nothing like it.
