Cowgirl Kitchen is pleased to announce its Seagrove location has hired Executive Chef Sam Edwards to lead the way in kickback cuisine and to complement the restaurant’s new look and new offerings.
Executive Chef Sam Edwards has spent the last decade in the culinary world, most recently in San Francisco at The Front Porch. A native of Georgia, Chef Edwards will expand the Seagrove menu with “chalkboard dinners,” Southern comfort food locally sourced and reasonably priced.
Cowgirl Enterprises Owner Nikki Nickerson said, “We are so happy to welcome Sam on board at Seagrove. His background at The Front Porch and his chef style melds so well with all that Cowgirl Kitchen is about.”
Cowgirl Kitchen Seagrove, the innovative hot spot on Scenic Highway 30A, is now serving draft beer and wine by the glass, along with Bloody Marys made famous at the flagship Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach. The interior changes at the restaurant include an expanded counter service and seating, and Chef Edwards will continue to delight South Walton crowds with unique breakfast and lunch specials. The restaurant’s famous breakfast dish “The Heartache,” a golden biscuit smothered in pimento cheese and topped with praline bacon, was profiled by Cooking with Paula Deen magazine in an article entitled “Top Ten Spots for Biscuits in the U.S.”
Cowgirl Kitchen Seagrove’s popular market items will continue to be offered as well. These include freshly made dips, spreads, take-home casseroles and other gourmet-to-go items, not to mention craft beer and curated wine. Catering is also available for groups.
