D&K's will be open for...

Hi everyone one. Doug is back in the kitchen tonight...his way of dealing with his loss. We will be closed Wednesday night and possibly Thursday night. Not sure. I'm just going with what he wants to do.

We will be open for sure beginning Friday night and look forward to seeing many of you Friday, Saturday and New Year's Eve night.

Here's to a wonderful New Year for everyone! Thank you all so much for your support!!! Normally I could chat away, but not much feeling in the mood. My heart goes out to so many right now!!!

Although, I AM in high spirits for my beloved Saints!!!

So sorry you guys for not being at the cafe last night to spoil you and give you my tour. I was at home birthing my Shih Tzus babies. She had 5 beautiful pups...2 boys and three girls. Will send pictures of my proud babies soon!

I know it must have been crazy last night at the cafe with so many large tables. I like to do smaller tables for this cafe, but some of these reservations were made before we were open.

Most of all what I've come away with from this holiday season is just thankful for spending time with friends...enjoying their presence wherever you are. So many times we get caught up in the goings on around us....when what's important in our life is right in front of us.

God bless you for taking on the cafe on our busiest night so far, and short handed at that!!! We'll gat it all together by next Christmas!!! It better not take that long!!!

Anyway hoped you enjoyed the decor and everyone who serviced your table. I look forward to having something up there for all the SoWal group:clap_1: ....maybe January.
