Mine is Dec. 4 and my daughters is Dec. 14. Makes for a very busy holiday season!
My Spawn #3 is the 28th also. Having a birthday 3 days after Christmas has really proven to be a drag. How did you handle it? Did you celebrate on the actual day or choose a different day? My husband is really wanting to relocate that birthday because he feels so sorry for S#3. (He he he, that name is making me giggle a bit.)Sueshore said:

I think a pre-Christmas B-day is SO much better! One of the hardest things is reminding relatives not to FORGET or not to wrap B-day presents in Christmas paper!!!
Mine is December 22. People always say, "Well, I guess you don't get any birthday gifts with a birthday that close to Christmas." Actually I probably get more gifts than the rest of the family because it's close to Christmas. While buying Christmas gifts, they always remember to buy me a birthday gift since it's convenient and they're in shopping mode.

I don't know what to get him for his birthday. We were supposed to go on a river cruise down the Danube River in Germany, to see all the Christmas markets and castles, but that got blasted away by the little condo that Mermaid insisted upon this past summer. 
I have to think of something else now. Ideas anyone?

The 22nd is my daughter's birthday. We always to keep it from getting lost in the Christmas rush. So far, we have succeeded.

Last year we had the "friends party" in November! It was the first time we did that and we really liked it. There's so much going on with school programs, church programs, holiday parties etc. Of course we still celebrated on her birthday but it was just family. I better get on the ball if we are going to do that again this year.
