Dennis - I have info on Waters Edge

Somebody asked earlier about the walkover at Waters Edge-looks just like ours at high Pointe, cut off at the top. Don't see how they can possible fix it by Sat.

Maybe they will try to find a way down the dunes like Rosemary did after Ivan.

Speaking of Rosemary, just rode bikes in there, everything looks great. Some guy this morning was letting 6 or 7 kids climb up & down the dunes. Bit my tongue but didn't say anything; doubt it would have done any good.

Are there any signs down there telling folks to stay off the dunes? I saw some down in Dune Allen that were pretty obvious.

I was on the beach & there were no signs of course, but I don't know about by land. The walkovers I have seen just have caution tape around them, & apparently this family just went around it & climbed down. I have not noticed any signs about the dunes, other than the ones that are usually there that say dune restoration in progress

I guess that was a dumb question.

People don't pay attention to signs anyway.

This guy was alone with about 7 kids....I doubt he would have paid attention if a sign had been there. It's hard to concentrate with that much whining, giggling, & fighting going on
