Did anyone see a man walking on 98 today?

I am posting this to see if somebody else saw him or took a picture. He was wearing a long brown robe with a rope around his waist and had long hair parted down the middle. He was walking west past the gas station and 331 about 2:30 today. I asked someone else and they saw this same description near Panama City walking yesterday!

Please tell me someone got a picture of him!

I thought it was a woman. The head was covered by the robe, and I could only see the face in my sideview mirror. I thought the robe looked rather earthy-orange in color. I was guessing that the person was maybe a Yogi. I wasn't sure about the head covered by the robe. The temp was a balmy sticky hot temperature, so that was a little wierd.

I thought it was a woman too, until I looked in the rear view mirror. I thought someone was dressed up like Jesus walking on 98! He had a rope tied around his waist, in the floor length robe. He had dark hair with a grey streak on one side. It was very vivid to me because I had to look twice to make sure what I was seeing! His hair was longer than shoulder length.

I did not see this particular person on 98 today...but in the past have seen "such" as this (and not only in this area, but at a variety a locales across the country). Sometimes the person I've seen has also been dragging a cross w/ a WHEEL on the bottom. Mel Gibson must have forgotten the WHEEL detail in The Passion.

It's that time of the year.... again.

We have this guy in Destin that show's up this time every year. He is known by the name of Bo. He BUSTS into businesses during the day and SHOUTS, do you believe in God? Do you have a hundred dollars?

He has frightened a few business owners into giving him 100.00, but most escort him out the door!!!

A HUGE gathering point for these displaced people is the corner of Hwy 98 & Hutchenson Dr. (The road where the mid-bay bridge road is)

My neighbor in Crystal Beach found someone sleeping on the corner of their property this morning. An older man.

I saw him, too. He was just west of 98 & Bay Drive. I thought the robe was brown, and he was bent over -- I thought he was picking up trash.

I saw him walking on 98 this afternoon around 3:30. I did not get a picture of him, but pondered the idea of who was crazier. Him or Me. Him for probably thinking he is Jesus. Or me for thinking he may not be.
